The books
Every dollar since Season 1A club’s money is not a number somebody typed. It is the sum of every entry on its books — funding, draft wins, refunds, trades — and the draft room spends from exactly that sum. Open a club to see every entry, oldest first, with the running total beside it.

How the money works
- Funding. Each Premier club that stays up gets a season purse: $10 in Seasons 1–2, $12 from Season 3. Whatever a club did not spend carries over.
- Promotion. The club coming up from the B League gets a fresh purse that replaces its balance: $12 plus the average of the five staying Premier clubs’ balances, to the cent.
- Relegation. A club sent down loses its Premier treasury. Money comes back by winning the B League.
- B League. From Season 7, $2 a season per club, and carry-over is capped at $6.
- The draft. A win costs the winning bid, less $3 when the club held that player’s advantage. A refund or a clawback brings money back. A trade can move money between two clubs, always as two equal and opposite entries.
